Flying Change Philosophy:

Our aim is to foster true partnerships between our Icelandic horses and their new owners.  Not every Icelandic horse is suitable for every rider.  We will do our best to match you with the right Icelandic horse before you buy it.  Prices generally range from $9,000 to $12,000.

Gammur No photo currently available, please see videos. SOLD!  Gammur is a flashy six-year old black and white stallion with a wonderful, relaxed temperament.  He is responsive but very easy to control.  He's happy to do whatever is asked, is always respectful and has excellent brakes.  Gammur has very clear gaits, good leg lift and should become even more impressive with age.  He has had quite a lot of professional training for his age and will make an excellent mount for most riders.  Gammur has excellent blood lines and will likely produce foals with his terrific temperament and gaits.  He can of course be gelded if that is his new owner's wish.  Amazing price for this bundle of talent!  Gammur is still in Iceland.  More information about him can be found on Magnus Larusson's site in Iceland: http://urvalshestar.is/english/ .

Sproti SOLD!   Sproti is a wonderful 6-year-old gelding with a kind temperament and terrific gaits.  He was used as a children's competition horse in Iceland and is a seasoned trail horse.  Sproti is suitable for most riders.

Congratulations to Kathy Hanson of Ijamsville, MD!

Hringfaxi

SOLD!  Hringfaxi is a tall, striking 10-year-old blue dun gelding with full blaze.  He is kind and possesses a stately quiet in his demeanor.  His first choice of gait is tolt, but his soft trot is easy to get, as is his round canter.  His gaits are expressive and he has over-average leg lift in the tolt. The transitions between all gaits are clean and extremely well-balanced. This is a perfect horse for a rider with established balance and knowledge of basic aids and who is at ease with moderate “go” that is under control.  Hringfaxi is well suited both for the show ring and the trail.  Because of his strength of build and size, he is capable of carrying tall or larger riders easily.
